Choosing a Beauty Booking Platform
Compare platform costs and client experience against your business needs.
By The Beauty Exchange · Updated · Last reviewed
Choosing a beauty platform starts with your business and the way you want to work. Write down what you need today: a public profile, a portfolio, messaging, scheduling, payments, or tools for a team.
Compare the whole cost
Read each provider’s current official pricing. Look separately for monthly fees, setup costs, platform fees, processing fees, and optional extras. A free profile does not mean every payment is free. Compare costs using your own appointment volume and service prices; no model is cheapest for every business.
Test the client experience
Check whether clients can understand your services, prices, location, and work. Look at how they contact you and what must happen before they can select a time or pay. Confirm the tools your business needs rather than assuming every platform works the same way.
How The Beauty Exchange works
BEx offers a free provider profile with no monthly or setup fee. You can present your services, pricing, location, and portfolio and use discovery and messaging without connecting Stripe.
After you complete Stripe payment setup, clients can book and pay through your BEx profile for services that support online booking. BEx charges a platform fee only on bookings paid through the platform. Stripe processing fees apply separately. See the current pricing page for the applicable rates.
Start with a useful introduction
Keep your service descriptions accurate and use only portfolio images you have permission to share. A complete profile introduces your business; it does not guarantee bookings or income.
